Shades Of Clarke-Gray

  Suddenly I missed...  Missed the dark nights  Where we sat on the porch  By candlelight, due to the blackout,  When my father told stories of his youth,  Sometimes we laughed at his jokes.  Suddenly I missed.  Missed those friends,  The group that was in front of the house,  Teenager time,  Flirting, youth, discoveries...  Suddenly memory makes us travel  To a nice past  Where nicknaming an acquaintance   Wasn't bullying.  Where we stayed until late at night  With the freedom to leave the windows open  No railings, letting coolness of the night  Enter until dawn...  Suddenly I missed  The a past that is nothing more  The past!   ©️ Renata Clarke-Gray De repente bateu saudade… Saudade das noites escuras  Onde sentávamos na varanda Á luz de velas, devido o apagão, Quando o pai contava histórias de sua juventude  Ás vezes, riamos com suas piadas. Are we speaking the same language?   Are we trying to hide the real word to be said?  Why not believe, it may have happened  So fast? Because let's say ,we have a connection  And we know that is actually a strong feeling  That came so fast that we are afraid  To say aloud because if we say it  We know that words thrown in the wind  Multiply and materialize ...  Loose words can be powerful, Blessings or curse.  Will the words "connection", "comfortable"  Would not be used for "camouflage"  Something deeper, pure?  Would be misinterpreted words  Or just camouflaged?  Because in reality, there is only  A single word that covers everything we feel ...  Love! ©️ Renata Clarke-Gray  Será que estamos falando a mesma língua?
